'How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation...' Isaiah 52:7
As a church with many people from around the world, our heart is for the nations. We are privileged to partner with organisations and missionaries both here and internationally that seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Glass Door relieves poverty amongst the homeless in West London by providing accommodation, advice, and support. As London's largest shelter network, churches provide venues for the shelter during the winter months and drop in centres.
We also support the work of Glass Door by running and hosting the shelter once a week (between January and April).
Kingdom Compassion (formerly known as The Earls Court Community Project) aims to reach out and support people who are struggling with their lives in some way. This could be an ongoing need or a one-off crisis. Many of their visitors are those on the edges of society, including those caught up in drug or alcohol addictions, people without homes, or those suffering from mental illness.
Kingdom Compassion run Friendship club, which is a weekly time where women can come to chat and create friendships over hot drinks and a free warm light meal. Activities include: crafts, nail painting, summer outings and regular devotions with Christian content. All women 18+ are welcome. Thursdays 11am-1pm at St Luke's. See the link below to find out more.
As an international church, we are privileged to partner with missionaries and churches around the world, including churches in USA and Kenya, and missionaries both home (in London) and abroad (including South America, the Middle-East and Asia).
