...a local church for a global community
An important part of St Luke's life is gathering together to pray for the church, the community and the world. There are a number of times during the week that we do this, below is a summary of our prayer pattern and you can click the link below to see a more detailed description of the different meetings.
...This prayer meeting starts at 6.30am with some coffee and danish pastries. We call it 'Leading Edge' because we want it to be a time where
we pray through all that is going on in St Lukes church life and focus on what God is doing, as well as seek to sharpen each other up with times of worship and prayer.
Thursday Evening (7.30pm - NOT 4th Thursday)
...Our Thursday evenings are now called Kingdom Living. This term we will use the time to run the Living Free Course, designed to hi-lighting any areas of our lives where we are not living in the freedom God intended and praying through these issues
Fan the Fire (7.30pm every 4th Tuesday)
...On the 4th Tuesday of every month we all join together with homegroups for Fan the Fire, this replaces our usual Thursday evening prayer meeting and follows a similar pattern with prayer for church life and upcoming events and courses.
