Patrick (Pat) is our artist in residence and creative lead at St Luke's, not only bringing purpose and professionalism to all our publicity and communications but making our church a better place with his involvement. Pat also is our Welcome Pastor, overseeing our welcome process and hospitality on Sundays and helping newcomers feel assimilated into the life of our community.
Where are you from?
What brought you to St Luke's?
God called my family to St Luke’s when our church from Indiana cast a vision to create a multi-cultural church partnership in London with Nairobi Chapel. Our motto in our house is “Be Brave Not Safe” and as we pursued London, God continued to open doors for us to be here. We want to join in what God is already doing here in London and to shine his light into the darkness.
Why do you love Jesus?
He died for me so that I could restore my relationship with God. Because he did this for me I am able to fully realise how God has created me and His purposes for my life.
Favourite thing/s to do in London?
I love walking the city streets and finding hidden gems around every corner. Exploring all of the museums and experiencing the different cultures. I also love getting a warm drink and sitting in any of London’s beautiful parks and people watch.
Interesting fact about yourself...
Before I met my wife I didn’t eat anything green.
