...a local church for a global community
At St Luke's we are always looking to work closely with organisations to reach out into our surrounding area. We are also supporting missionaries around the world as they seek to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. Here are some of the organisations and people with whom we work...
...Paul has been involved in the Radstock network for over 10 years, his earliest involvement being within the church in Russia. More recently he has helped and works full time in a church planting movement in the Gobi Desert in Mongolia. Paul's passion is forging Gospel partnerships across cultures, and seeing emerging countries send churches into mission.
...The ECCP aims to reach out to the Earls Court area to provide support for people in need. This could be an ongoing need or a one-off crisis. Many of the visitors are those on the edges of society, caught up in drug or alcohol addictions, people without homes, or those suffering with mental illness. Initially established in 1985 ECCP aims to demonstrate God's love in a compassionate and practical way
...The Rahab Project provide essential support for individuals involved in providing adult personal services. We have made a special link with this project from 2010 as God has increasingly put within our sight the problems of legal and illegal adult services and trafficking in Earls Court. The Rahab Project work alongside the police to relieve trafficked individuals and provide free counselling and confidential support for the chance of
a better life. We pray that the church can be a place where people will discover God in as they search for something different through the Rahab Project. Volunteers from our church family are already involved in the work of the Rahab Project, so please use the contact information below to get involved or find out more!
