ECCP Activities at St. Luke’s

The Women’s Drop-in Open on Thursdays from 11.00 - 13.00

...aiming to be a safe and welcoming place where women are supported and encouraged, and friendships can be built. Refreshments are served throughout the morning. There is a time of sharing and listening to each other’s experiences and stories, followed by various activities (e.g. reflection on a topic, a Bible study, making cards or jewellery). We finish with lunch and dessert.

Counselling Training
...designed for Christians who want to work with broken and hurting people in the world's inner cities. All training options offered aim to provide an understanding of God's heart for people in urban situations. Trainees are introduced to a variety of Christian and secular counselling models and to specific problems faced by people. They will acquire skills to reach out in a sensitive and practical way, enabling them to respond appropriately to the needs within the community.

Community Counselling School (CCS)

Friday daytime ...this 9-month part-time programme will provide the understanding and relevant counselling skills for those who are working in an urban setting.

Monday evening ...the same curriculum but spread part-time over 2 years. This course is designed to provide students with the skills and understanding to deal with a range of counselling situations.
